The
Bellevue Hotel is situated right on the edge of Belize City's historic harbour. It was
originally built as a family home in the early 1900s, the site
being selected for its proximity to shops, government offices and
other fine residences, and the direct
access afforded by the harbour to the cayes.
Today, almost a
century later, that home has been operated as a hotel by our
family for nearly forty years.
The Bellevue is still run very much like a home, with
attention to detail and personalised service being our
watchwords. Over the years we have catered to dignitaries,
diplomats, businessmen, vacationers and even the royal family.
All our rooms have individually controlled air conditioning, 55
channel cable TV, phone, bath or shower, and room and valet
services.
Experience "Personally Speaking", our gourmet
restaurant. Enjoy the "Maya Tavern", where we feature
Belizean entertainment every weekend. Soak up some tropical
sunshine by the swimming pool. Or absorb the ambience in the
upstairs "Harbour Room", a favourite meeting place for
a cooling drink whilst supervising the action in the harbour
